Familiarity with the 340B program is a plus, but we will teach you everything you need to know to be successful. Job Duties:

• Prepare medication for patients
• Receiving and verifying prescriptions
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Helping health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
• Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Organizing medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.
• Maintaining records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.

Requirements:
