Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join a LTC pharmacy team. The role supports floor stock, packing, and shipping of medications, under supervision. Licensing or trainee status in Ohio is required, with preference for prior pharmacy and data entry experience.

The position emphasizes reliability, organization, and teamwork, with standard weekday shifts and potential overtime based on site needs.

Qualifications

• OH Pharmacy Technician license or trainee status required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prior data entry experience preferred.
• Reliable and able to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision and follow directions.
• Maintain floor stock levels and rotate stock.
• Prepack and package fill for floor medications.
• Pack and ship medications while ensuring quality controls.
• Adhere to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Perform other supervisor-directed tasks.

About the Job

Our Company:SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday- Friday and every other weekend

10pm-6:30am Monday- Friday and every other weekend

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician or trainee required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
