Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a skilled nursing facility setting in Yuma, AZ. The OT provides direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral under Life Care standards, with NBCOT certification and state licensure required.

New grads welcome; CPR certification is expected. Position offers opportunities to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote functional independence.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans (activities of daily living).
• Establish, assess, and modify goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team.
