Job summary

Crouse Community Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our mission-driven, community-based organization. As an RN, you will provide direct nursing and personal care, lead and support the clinical team, and ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

You will monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and chart accurately while coordinating with LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN license.
• Eligibility to work in long-term care per NYS HCS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing and personal care with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
• Perform accurate charting and documentation per standards.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents.
• Lead and support LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Report safety concerns or suspected abuse immediately.
