Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking an experienced RN for per diem private-duty home care in New Brunswick, NJ. The RN will deliver one-on-one nursing care in the client’s home, utilizing clinical skills and compassionate patient engagement.

The role offers flexible day, evening, overnight and weekend assignments, with pay at $55.00 per hour and opportunities to work around client needs while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in acute care or home care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Physical examination completed within the past year.
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years, if applicable.
• MMR immunization documentation.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, in-home nursing care to the client.
• Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with family and care team to adjust care plans as needed.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records.
