Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. in Union, NJ is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private-duty, in-home hospice care. This per diem position offers one-on-one client care, flexible scheduling, and a chance to apply clinical expertise in a home setting.

Candidates must hold an active NJ RN license, have 1 year of acute or home care RN experience, hospice experience, and current BLS. Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in acute care or home care.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life care.
• Strong knowledge of end-of-life care, pain and symptom management.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Physical examination completed within the past year.
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years, if applicable.
• MMR immunization documentation.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption.

Per Diem | Private-Duty Home Care | Union, NJ

Affirmed Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide personalized, one-on-one care to a client in the comfort of their home.

This position is ideal for an RN who values meaningful patient relationships, focused care, and the opportunity to use their clinical skills in a home care setting.

Location: Union, NJ 07083 and surrounding areas

Position Details

• Per diem position

• One-on-one client care

• Flexible scheduling based on client needs

• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend assignments may be available

• Pay: $55.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license

• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in acute care or home care

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life care

• Strong knowledge of end-of-life care, pain and symptom management, and comfort-focused care

• Current BLS certification
