Job summary

Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to work across Nursery and Medical/Surgical units. The role involves patient and family interaction, collaboration with health care teams, and delivering care aligned with nursing standards.

Shifts are full-time, 3-12 hour nights from 7:00pm to 7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays; onsite supervision and resource management are part of the responsibilities. Nebraska RN license required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licensed RN in Nebraska current.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE within one year of hire; onsite paid by BCH.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Nursery and Med/Surg as scheduled.
• Collaborate with patients, families and other health care providers.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per standards.
• Provide supervisory oversight to assigned staff and manage supplies.

Job Duties: Various shifts between Nursery and Medurg. Works collaboratively with patients, families and other health care providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. Follows nursing Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care. Provides supervisory oversight to assigned staff, and effectively manages supplies, equipment and other resources.

Qualifications: Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferred Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Nebraska Current CPR/BLS ACLS, PALS, NRP, S.T.A,B.L.E. within one year of hire (classes paid by BCH and onsite)

Shift Schedule: Full-Time; 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:00am, rotating weekend and holidays
