Wound Care RNs are responsible for the Skin and Wound Care Department at Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) and Woodridge Skilled Nursing Facility (WDR), known for their advanced wound treatments.
The Wound Care RN provides direct care to patients and families, teaches and prepares for continuing care, and serves as a clinical expert and resource for WDR residents. The RN offers professional nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to end-of-life, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health needs and goals. Demonstrating clinical leadership through mentoring, staff education, and exemplary clinical and customer service is essential.
