Job summary

Nashua Post Acute is hiring an RN Weekend Warrior to provide skilled nursing care on Saturdays and Sundays with a 5-weekend on, 1 off rotation.

Shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. Daily Pay is available with a base pay of $55 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of RN experience.
• Current unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Able to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per physician plan and written care plan.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per care plan.
• Monitor and assess residents and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of New Hampshire.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
