Baptist Health System, Inc. in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse for the Weekend Program in the Short Stay Unit. This full-time role runs 1 pm to 1 am, with a 15% shift differential and 25% weekend differential, and requires delivering direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, Kentucky RN license, ACLS/BLS within defined timelines, NIHSS within 6 months, and completion of crisis prevention training. BSN preferred.

Competenze

• ADN required for nursing practice.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• BLS must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed before end of orientation and maintained annually.

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.

Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
