Registered Nurse - Virtual Nurse Specialist

Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. The Virtual Nurse Specialist offers remote nursing care from our Upstate facility, supporting bedside nurses and the healthcare team via advanced telehealth technology. Responsibilities include patient care coordination, virtual admissions, discharge planning, and patient education, ensuring effective communication with healthcare professionals.

Minimum Qualifications
Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and at least 5 years of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in virtual care settings, telehealth, remote patient monitoring, or virtual nursing roles. Experience in high-acuity environments such as emergency services, intensive care units, or critical care. BSN preferred. Adult and Pediatric experience is also preferred.

Work Days
Day/evening shifts with weekends/holidays as needed.
