Job summary

St. Cloud VA Health Care System is seeking dedicated registered nurses to join our Community Living Center team. These roles involve hands-on nursing care, developing care plans with the IDT, administering treatments, and supporting Veterans through transitions of care.

Applicants should have an approved nursing degree and an active RN license; EDRP eligibility is noted. Various rotating shifts with potential weekend coverage are available.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for frontline patient care.
• State RN license upon appointment; may require licensure transfer.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ACEN/CCNE accreditation) contact for details.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care to Veterans in the Community Living Center.
• Develop initial and ongoing care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor patient status.
• Coordinate with discharge planning and family members for transitions of care.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and patient experience initiatives.
