Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN or CCNE.
• State license as a registered nurse (RN) with eligibility for temporary/ permanent appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care to VA residents.
• Coordinate with LPNs and NAs to ensure safe and effective care.
• Administer medications and perform procedures per established policies.
• Participate in nursing education, orientation, competency validation, and quality-improvement initiatives.
