Job summary

Alvin C York Veterans' Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Community Living Center. The RN-CLC delivers leadership, coordinates care, and collaborates on policies to improve resident outcomes across the unit.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care (38 U.S.C. 7403)
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the accrediting agency
• RN license in applicable state with full active status
• BSN or Diploma/ADN with progression toward higher degrees may apply
• Foreign nursing education must be validated for equivalency

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership and manages complex resident care in the Community Living Center
• Collaborates in development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies and guidelines
• Provides feedback and supports colleagues to ensure safe, quality nursing care
• Evaluates outcomes of evidence-based decisions and practice changes at program level
• Ensures accurate data and contributes to MDS and RUG score processes
