Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Saint Cloud, FL. This full-time role requires ventilator experience and offers an hourly wage of $32-$35, with a sign-on bonus discussed at interview.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, planning and evaluating patient care, and coordinating with physicians. Licensure and certifications must be current, with English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of hands-on experience as a professional nurse is required.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports changes to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning.
