This full-time position requires ventilator experience and offers competitive pay with weekly paychecks. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, planning and evaluating care, administering medications, documenting outcomes, coordinating education, and discharge planning as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where you practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient status and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning as applicable.

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes in Kissimmee, FL, for Full-time work with Ventilator Experience.

Salary: $30 - $33 / per hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• ONE YEAR prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.
• Proficient in English
