REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of recent RN bedside experience in an acute care hospital (medical/surgical experience).

EDUCATION:

RN Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN

CERTIFICATIONS and LICENSURE:

RN license valid in North Carolina

Meet and maintain specialty-specific requirements; BLS and NIHH certifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform competent nursing care based on the nursing process.
• Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Maintain standards of professional performance including ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, and evidence-based practice.
• Assess/admit patients, conduct rounding, administer medications, communicate with families, and oversee overall patient care.
