Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an RN traveler for a 14-week assignment. The role requires 36 hours per week across IMCU and Stepdown units.

The RN will perform standard bedside nursing duties, including medication administration, patient assessment, and care coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Requirements include at least 2 years of recent RN bedside experience in acute care IMCU/Stepdown, EPIC proficiency, BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT RN bedside experience on an acute care hospital IMCU/STEPDOWN.
• EPIC User experience is required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess/admit patients and conduct rounds.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Communicate with families and coordinate care.
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure high-quality patient care.
