Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute in Springfield, MO seeks an experienced RN for an emergency department role. You will provide critical patient care in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center environment with Pediatric ED, Burn Center and Behavioral Health units.

The position requires nursing licensure, 1+ year ED hospital experience, and certifications including AHA Healthcare Provider, ACLS, PALS/ENPC and TNCC. Join a team offering a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and current licensure to practice nursing.
• 1+ year hospital-based experience, ED preferred.
• Certifications: AHA Healthcare Provider, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC or equivalent within required timeframes.

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate care across departments and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Work with a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center team in Pediatric ED, Burn Center, and Behavioral Health units.

Responsibilities Include

• Utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinating care across departments and evaluating care effectiveness.
• Working alongside a dedicated team in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center with specialized units including Pediatric ED, Burn Center, and Behavioral Health.
• Participating in specialized programs such as the Emergency Trauma Center Nursing Fellowship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Hospital-based experience; one year in Emergency Department preferred.
• Certifications including AHA Healthcare Provider, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC, with courses completed within specified timeframes.
