Position Overview

Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to work the day shift within the Transitional Care Unit (TCU). The TCU is embedded in and adjacent to the Emergency Department, collaborating in a split flow model to provide high‑quality nursing care to patients admitted but awaiting inpatient beds.

Schedule

• 2, 7a–7p shifts per week with weekend rotation of 3 shifts per 4‑week schedule

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, continuous nursing care to patients in the ED awaiting admission.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast‑paced environment, bridging emergency and inpatient services.
• May float to any med‑surg or rehab unit.

Qualifications

Compensation

Salary range: $49.96 – $68.99 per hour. Rate specific to individual experience and education.
