Job summary

The State of Iowa - Executive Branch is seeking short-term Registered Nurses for the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. These are non-merit, temporary positions with FULL TIME evening and night shifts.

Assignments run a minimum of 15 weeks, or up to 780 hours, and the position is not eligible for benefits. Applicants may apply for a permanent role after the 15-week period if interested.

Rate of pay is $47.42*

• Wage of $47.42 is based on employees working a minimum of 80 hours a pay period for 15 weeks. Employees working less than 80 hours a pay period will have an hourly wage of $ 30.57-$47.42.

Hours are 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.

Will work 1 out of 3 weekends.

This position is not eligible for benefits. The candidate may apply for a permanent position at the end of the 15 weeks if interested.
