Incredible Health seeks a Registered Nurse - Telemetry in the Lanham, MD area to monitor cardiac rhythms and provide patient care on a fast-paced unit.

The role requires an active RN license, ADN or higher, and 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience, with BLS/ACLS certifications. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and emphasis on patient education and safety.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year cardiac telemetry or related cardiac care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs, interpreting data for distress or abnormal patterns.
• Administer medications and interventions per the medical plan of care.
• Collaborate with providers to adjust the plan of care based on cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families on heart health and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition and progress per policy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $60,000 to $121,000 /year
