Job Description

This position requires a registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience, including telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and remote monitoring. Experience with post-cardiac procedures, sheath removal, port access, blood product administration, and cardiac drips is necessary. ACLS certification is required. Preferred skills include NIH and charge nurse experience.

Work details include:

1. Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15)
2. Ratios: 1:6-7
3. Contract length: 13 weeks, with a maximum RTO of 7 days
4. Schedule: 36 hours/week, with weekend shifts every other weekend
5. Float requirement: Yes, during catastrophic events or disaster response

The unit monitors cardiac patients, administers various cardiac drips, and performs sheath pulls and femstop procedures. The facility uses Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR systems. Orientation is 24 hours; scrubs are navy.
