This position requires a registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience, including telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and remote monitoring. Experience with post-cardiac procedures, sheath removal, port access, blood product administration, and cardiac drips is necessary. ACLS certification is required. Preferred skills include NIH and charge nurse experience.
Work details include:
The unit monitors cardiac patients, administers various cardiac drips, and performs sheath pulls and femstop procedures. The facility uses Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR systems. Orientation is 24 hours; scrubs are navy.
