Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse for the 4th Floor Telemetry unit in Kentucky. You will deliver direct patient care from admission to discharge, document outcomes, and apply evidence-based practices at the bedside.

External candidates may receive a $6,000 sign-on bonus. The role requires AK nursing licensure, ACLS, BLS within specified timelines, and Crisis Prevention training within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.

Registered Nurse - 4th Floor Telemetry

Pay: $6,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates.

Contract: Full-Time 7a - 7p.

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. Follows the professional standards of care. Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
