The Registered Nurse, Virtual Care, CareLine, provides telephonic emergency triage and patient care advice for various health issues. The role involves remote clinical assessments, collaboration with primary caregivers, and supporting patient outcomes through telemedicine.

The shift for this opening is:

• Tuesdays 1700-2100
• Wednesdays 1700-2100
• Thursdays 1700-2100
• Saturdays 0800-1600

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Connect with patients via phone or video, gather health history, and document data.
• Provide health assessments, monitor patient health, and promote wellness.
• Monitor vital signs such as oxygen levels, heart rate, blood pressure, and blood glucose.
• Identify symptoms using video chat and analyze data for appropriate outcomes.
• Collaborate with on-call providers to support clinical outcomes.
• Document progress and interventions clearly to support patient care.
• Enhance telehealth practices and ensure safety, efficacy, and fiscal responsibility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong nursing knowledge and understanding of clinical practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build trust and deliver VIP care.
• Good clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize under pressure and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other required systems.
• Willingness to travel locally within South Florida and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; bilingual in Spanish/Creole preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Nurse Licensure Compact license required; ability to obtain additional licenses within 90 days.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience in emergency or urgent care preferred.
• Experience with older adults and virtual care preferred.
