Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across a Stepdown unit. You will apply the nursing process, exercise independent and collaborative judgment, and focus on safe, high-quality outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and delivery of care within a cost-conscious framework, with emphasis on compassion and customer service as you support patients and families throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 60 days of hire date or job transfer date is required.
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer date is required, or Certified Instructor.
• Education: graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services.
• Apply the nursing process and independent professional judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate compassion and customer service orientation in all interactions.
• Maintain cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
• Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program
