Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shifts (7pm-7:30am, Monday–Friday with every 3rd weekend) in the Telemetry/CVC department. You will provide a full range of nursing services, guided by the nursing process, emphasizing patient outcomes through careful assessment, planning, and evaluation.

Requires Michigan RN license within 60 days and BLS within 90 days, plus graduation from an approved nursing program.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 60 days.
• Certified BLS Provider per the American Heart Association within 90 days or as Instructor.
• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program.
• No additional preference.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain compassionate care with cost-consciousness and strong customer service.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
• Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
