Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5th Floor Surgical Telemetry in Elizabethtown, KY. This part-time role runs 7a–7p and includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates. You will provide direct patient care from admission to discharge, document outcomes, and uphold professional standards.

The RN must hold an ADN with KY license; ACLS and BLS within specified timelines. Join a team focused on evidence-based bedside care and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• ADN nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.

Follows the professional standards of care.

Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.

Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
