Job summary

Christiana Care seeks a Registered Nurse for our 35-bed Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit 4D. This part-time role covers days and overnights on a weekend-rotating schedule, delivering nursing care to adolescent through geriatric patients with interventions every 2–4 hours. BSN required or obtain within three years.

One year nursing experience, two in acute care preferred. BLS required; ACLS within 1 year.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required; two years in acute care preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in Delaware; BLS certification required; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a 35-bed Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit (4D).
• Care for adolescents, adults and geriatrics with interventions every 2–4 hours.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective patient progress.
• Maintain patient documentation and ensure shift handoffs are thorough.

Registered Nurse on Inpatient Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit- Part Time - Day/MidnightsChristiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours. Requirements:

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required. Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
• Hours: This is a part-time position of 48 hours per pay/24 hours per week. The hours for this position are Days 7a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Overnights of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays required per organization policy.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
