ChristianaCare in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This 35-bed unit cares for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients requiring nursing interventions every 2–4 hours, with a weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.

• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 4D Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down unit (adolescent to geriatric).
• Monitor patients with interventions every 2–4 hours.
• Participate in weekend rotations and holiday coverage as required.

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours. Requirements:

Hours: This is a full-time position of 72 hours per pay/36 hours per week. The hours for this position are Day Shift of 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. AND Overnights of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays required per organization policy.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
