Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN within five years of hire.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and support on a progressive care unit.

Employment Details

• Minimum rate of pay: $35.64 plus daily Pay

Unit Overview

The 2 North Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) is a 12‑bed unit providing excellent and compassionate care to a wide range of patient populations, including pre‑ and post‑surgical trauma patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, patient‑centered care, considering age‑specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Apply competent clinical practice and the nursing process.
• Integrate concepts of relationship‑based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to other unit staff.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; for new hires effective January 1 2023, a BSN degree is required or written agreement to obtain a BSN within five years of hire
