Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit on the Night shift, 36 hours per week (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with alternating weekends.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with Michigan licensure; BSN preferred. You will coordinate and deliver compassionate patient care, document Nursing process, and communicate with the care team to ensure safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and Michigan nursing licensure required.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to plan and evaluate nursing care.
• Effective communication with patients, families and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating quality patient care on the unit.
• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Communicate pertinent information to health care team and supervise care
• Support discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
