Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Tennessee RN license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or ability to obtain in timeframe.
• PALS certification preferred or required based on department needs.
• Previous perioperative or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and the operating room for procedures.
• Serve as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or PACU nurse as assigned.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and care team.
• Monitor recovery and educate patients and families.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Ensure documentation and regulatory/infection prevention compliance.

Job Description

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leadinghealthcare organization in Manchester, TN, to recruit experienced andcompassionate Registered Nurses to join its Surgical Services team.

In this role, you will provide exceptional nursingcare to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients throughout the surgicalexperience.

You'll work closely with surgeons, anesthesiaproviders, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficientsurgical services while serving in roles such as circulating nurse, scrubnurse, post-anesthesia care nurse, or other perioperative support functions asneeded.

Schedule: Full-Time | Days

What You'll Do

• Delivernursing care throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, andpostoperative phases
  
• Assess,monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after surgery
