Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospital in Manchester, TN to hire an Operating Room/Surgical Circulator RN. You will join a Surgical Services team delivering compassionate perioperative care from pre-op to post-op, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the rest of the OR team.

Expect a fast-paced environment with emphasis on sterile technique, patient safety, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hospitals require active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• OR experience strongly preferred; ability to support perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare surgical instruments and supplies.
• Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during, and after procedures.
• Count sponges, sharps, and instruments per AORN standards.
• Label and handle surgical specimens and maintain readiness of charted preferences.
• Mentor and support new staff and nursing students.

The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospitalin Manchester, TN to hire a compassionate and skilled Operating Room/Surgical Circulator RN to join their Surgical Services team.

As an RN Circulator, you'll play a vital role indelivering exceptional patient care throughout every phase of surgery - frompre-op to post-op - while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiaproviders, and the surgical team.

In this role, you will help maintain steriletechnique, ensure surgical readiness, and support safe, positive patientoutcomes in a fast-paced OR environment.

What You'll Do

• Provideperioperative nursing care for patients of all ages

• Maintainsterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies
  
• Supportsurgical and anesthesia teams before, during and after procedures
  
• Performaccurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORNstandards
  
• Properlyhandle and label surgical specimens
  
• Maintainup-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness
  
• Mentorand support new staff and nursing students
  
• Ensurecompliance with infection control and patient safety standards
  

What We’re Looking For

• BLS,Hospital-based ACLS and PALS required
