Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Manchester, TN to recruit experienced Registered Nurses for its Surgical Services team. This full-time, day shift position supports preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program, hold an active TN RN license with BLS, ACLS, and possibly PALS; prior perioperative OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Tennessee RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• PALS certification preferred or department dependent.
• Perioperative or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and OR for procedures.
• Serve as circulating, scrub, or PACU nurse as assigned.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.
• Maintain sterile, safe, and efficient surgical environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and care team.
• Monitor recovery and educate patients and families.
