Job summary

Amery Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Department to deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will prioritize urgent needs, initiate appropriate interventions and evaluate patient responses to care plans.

Casual position based on departmental needs. Requires Wisconsin RN license, BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications, and at least 1 year of operating room experience or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current WI RN license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1-year operating room experience or equivalent education.
• Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Prioritize urgency of patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Evaluate patients' responses to care plans.

Job description

As the Registered Nurse in the Amery Hospital & Clinic's Surgery Department, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This person will also be able to prioritize the urgency of patient needs, initiate appropriate interventions of care and evaluate patients' response to care plans.

Work Schedule:

• Casual position, based on department needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current WI RN license.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1-year operating room experience or equivalent education
• Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in EPIC computer system
• Pre & Post op experience preferred
• O.R. Experience highly preferred
