Job summary

Taphealthcare, located in North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Surgery with a strong Operating Room circulating background to provide safe, efficient nursing care through operative procedures across multiple specialties.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years OR circulating RN experience, a North Carolina RN license (or compact with NC endorsement), and comfort circulating orthopedic, general, robotic, and OB/GYN procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience.
• Current North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License with NC endorsement.
• Must be comfortable circulating in orthopedic, general, da Vinci robotic, and OB/GYN procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient nursing care throughout operative procedures.
• Circulate across multiple surgical specialties in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia.
• Support perioperative team to ensure quality patient outcomes from pre-op to post-op.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Surgery with a strong background in Operating Room circulating. This position requires an RN who is comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties and can provide safe, efficient nursing care throughout operative procedures.

This opportunity is specifically intended for nurses with recent, hands-on Surgery/OR circulating experience.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience
• Current North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License with North Carolina endorsement
• Must be comfortable circulating in:
  • Orthopedic procedures
  • General surgery
  • da Vinci robotic procedures
  • Select OB/GYN procedures
• Strong understanding of operating room workflows, surgical procedures, and perioperative patient care

Important Experience Requirement

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to the following areas cannot be considered in place of the required OR circulating experience:

• Pre-Op
• Post-Op
• Endoscopy/GI
• PACU

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced OR Circulating RN who can confidently support a variety of surgical cases and work effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader perioperative team. Experience circulating orthopedic, general, robotic, and OB/GYN procedures will be particularly valuable.
