Job summary

CBL Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse, Surgery (Operating Room) for a permanent full-time role in Rutherfordton, NC. The OR nurse will perform thorough perioperative assessments, support the surgical team, and ensure safe patient care throughout the full perioperative process.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of OR circulating RN experience, an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), and an active NC license or compact license with NC endorsement.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Surgery and OR Circulating RN experience required.
• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact license with NC endorsement.
• BLS and ACLS certifications due within 30 and 90 days of hire respectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments for patient safety and care.
• Support the surgical team and maintain efficient OR workflow.
• Deliver age- and procedure-appropriate perioperative nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to optimize patient outcomes.

• Provide age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the entire perioperative process.

• Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience is required.
• Education: Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure: Current North Carolina State RN License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire.
