Unit Summary

Our surgical facilities have recently been upgraded, including new operating rooms and communication systems, enhancing our surgical procedures and expanding our case volume in 2023 by 12%.

Position Summary

Provides patient care using the nursing process, addressing physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural needs, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team about patient status.

• Performs duties as assigned.
• Conducts patient assessments and reassessments.
• Manages pain and administers medications safely.
• Assists physicians with procedures and uses technical skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Willing to take call shifts.
• RN license in KY or a compact state.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• BLS certification within 7 days of hire.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
