Job summary

Hospital for Behavioral Medicine seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) for overnight shifts to oversee patient care delivery in alignment with standards of care and hospital policy. You will supervise staff, monitor regulatory compliance, and assist in staffing and treatment planning.

The role requires a nursing degree, MA licensure, and at least 3 years in psychiatric care. CPR and CPI training within 30 days are mandatory, with competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performances Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to staff assigned to his/her shift.Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.Implement the unit policies and procedures and act as a resource to the staff.Responsible for unit compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards.Evaluate program effectiveness and formulates plans for improvement.Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs.Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients.Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit.Coordinate, maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts Board of NursingExperience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.Additional Skill Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMA, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
