We are currently seeking an experienced:

REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the nursing staff during shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
2. Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and overseeing the Nursing Services Department.
3. Supervise nursing services in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
4. Support nurses during acute patient episodes.
5. Address employee issues promptly and document actions taken.
6. Handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
7. Perform any additional duties assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; proof of renewal required biannually.
• Commitment to providing quality nursing care and following doctor’s orders, with a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• Annual CPR certification.
• Participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
• Ability to supervise staff effectively, ensuring work is completed appropriately and on time.
• Knowledge of personnel, departmental, and facility policies, and adherence to legal requirements.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
