Job summary

Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to provide daily oversight of resident care, administer medications, and coordinate nursing teams in a Delaware facility. The role requires state RN licensure (or COMPACT), and a caring, responsive approach.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Delaware or have a COMPACT LICENSE.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Ability to build rapport with residents.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility and state standards.
• Administers medication and/or treatment to residents.
• Communicates resident pertinent data to the appropriate responsible party.
• Supervises and coordinates CNAs and LPNs in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal guidelines.
• Receive telephone orders from physicians, transcribe orders and record in the electronic health record, and prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Educate residents and their loved ones to understand the condition, medications, and self-care skills.
• Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Ensure nursing supply and equipment maintenance needs are met.
• The ability to be a flexible, caring, supportive team member

• Full-time: Monday - Friday shifts open: 3 pm -11 pm & 11 pm - 7 am
• Weekend all shifts open - $50/hour for this shift ONLY
