AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee all nursing care and supervise clinical support staff. The role requires coordinating daily activities and collaborating with multiple departments and regulatory entities.

Qualified candidates will hold a California RN license, have geriatric nursing experience, and possess a minimum of one year of supervisory experience in healthcare. BLS or higher certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in geriatric nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory/management experience in a healthcare setting.
• BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for all aspects of nursing care and the supervision of clinical support and nursing staff. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day staff activities. Will interact, coordinate, and facilitate activities with all disciplines, departments, and appropriate regulatory agencies.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current valid license by the State Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the supervision and management of staff in a healthcare environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, Tagalog, or Mandarin is preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

Pay for this job starts at $114,400.00 annually
