Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor Oncology (CNC) to lead nursing care on nights with rotating weekends. You will coordinate adult oncology and medical-surgical care, ensure adherence to policy, and support safe transitions and outstanding patient experiences.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and development of staff through evidence-based practice and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse.
• Associate degree, or bachelor's degree.
• 2 years experience required.
• 2+ years experience in Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for adult medical-surgical and oncology patients during the designated shift.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with policies and evidence-based practices.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff caring for patients with cancer diagnoses and chemotherapy-related needs.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, oncology specialists, case management, and ancillary departments.
• Foster a culture of compassion, quality, safety, and professional development.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care for adult medical-surgical and oncology patients while coordinating all unit functions during the designated shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and evidence-based practices. The CNC serves as a clinical resource for staff caring for patients with complex medical conditions, cancer diagnoses, chemotherapy-related needs, symptom management, and end-of-life care considerations. This leader promotes interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, oncology specialists, case management, and ancillary departments to support exceptional patient outcomes, safe care transitions, and an outstanding patient experience. The CNC models the organizations mission, vision, and values while fostering a culture of compassion, quality, safety, and professional development.
