Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures governing the nursing service department.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual and report to the Director as needed.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and in required committee activities.
• Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan services, programs, and activities.
