DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides leadership and coordination of nursing services to support the health and safety of individuals residing at the Selinsgrove Center. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Nursing Oversight: Guide and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to ensure that services follow professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Staff Direction: Assign, supervise, and support nursing staff in providing health services and maintaining a therapeutic environment
• Health Coordination: Monitor treatment plans, review clinical information, and participate in interdisciplinary activities to support individual care needs
• Compliance Management: Ensure nursing practices meet facility policies, safety rules, and regulations
• Training Leadership: Provide instruction to nursing staff regarding clinical procedures, infection control, and health care standards

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work every other weekend.
• Overtime as needed
• Free parking
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);
• Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements

• You must possess active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
