Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stress Lab at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day shift role runs from 7:00am to 4:00pm with no on-call requirements and rotating weekends.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of Critical Care experience, hold an RN license, ASN, and preferably a BSN. Diploma graduates with 5+ years progressive care are welcome. Join a faith-based, non-profit system serving NE Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patients during diagnostic cardiac testing and procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families about diseases, treatments, and care plans.
• Administer medications and provide nursing interventions as needed.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other health team members.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by support staff as appropriate.
• Advocate for patients and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and safety standards.

Position Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Stress Lab at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. The hours are between 7:00am and 4:00pm. No call is required for this position. Rotating weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

• Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, treatment, and the plan of care.
• Administer medications and provide appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs.

• Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by supportive personnel as appropriate.
• Serve as a patient advocate while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient-safety standards.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred
