Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Fulltime Day position in the Cardiac Respiratory PCU.

The role requires 1–2 years of cardiac or telemetry experience, ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, RN license, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. This unit emphasizes acute cardiac and respiratory care with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ASN in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in good standing; BLS required.
• Cardiac or telemetry experience 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families about disease and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians and ancillary services.
• Advocate for patients and participate in staff meetings.

Baptist South is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Days in the Cardiac Respiratory PCU. RNs can have med/surg or CCU experience. *New Hires eligible for a $2,500 Sign on Bonus*

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs

• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.

As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education/Degree Required:

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred:

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience:

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
