Job summary
SoftPath Medical is seeking a Neuro Stepdown Unit travel nurse for winter coverage at the Main Campus Hospital. The assignment runs for 20 weeks (13-week options possible) with a night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
A minimum of 18 months Neuro Stepdown experience and an Ohio or compact license is required, along with BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications and ECG rhythm recognition. Travel experience is acceptable; orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and a SafeMedicate assessment.
Qualifications
- 18+ months of Neuro Stepdown experience, preferably at one facility
- Minimum 18 months recent Neuro Stepdown; travel experience OK
- PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
- Hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or equivalent)
- Available to work at least every other holiday

- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Neuro Stepdown; travel experience is acceptable
- PCU/Progressive Care experience is preferred but not required
- Possession of a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license
- Current certifications in AHA or equivalent BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Availability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment
Candidates must successfully pass an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both.
