Required Experience and Licensure

• Must have 18 months of permanent experience in the Neuro Stepdown specialty prior to travel assignments.
• Must have 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience (travel experience will suffice).
• Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand.

Preferred Experience

• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.

Certifications Required

• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications required.

Other Requirements

• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be completed during orientation with an acceptable score on both assessments.
• Minimum of one reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. Non-supervisory references will not be considered.

Travel Compliance Notes

• Nicotine free requirement applies to travelers aside from nurses and CSTs.
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, must be updated annually.
• BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
• Working modules to be completed pre-start and annually, recorded via Silkroad.
